Fluid Movement Practice is an open-level movement class designed to develop physical skill, confidence and creative intuition. Drawing inspiration from contemporary dance, martial arts, tricking and soft acrobatics this class blends the 3 elements: body preparation, technical training, and movement research to foster the cultivation of an ever-curious mindset as well as a fluid, receptive and responsive body.

Open Level - Beginner & Intermediate

This class focuses on extracting the core principles and physics behind acrobatic movements. We dive into topics such as floorwork, weight distribution, using momentum and gravity, rolling, and inversions. Through guided creative explorations, we encourage individuality and the inherent artistry each student brings to the practice. By exploring opposing movement qualities—strength & control versus softness & fluidity—we aim to approach the full spectrum of movement, fostering a fluid, receptive, and responsive body.

Intermediate — Prerequisite: Solid Cartwheel
